The external compression process is that the air is pressurized, cooled, purified, and then produced by direct low-temperature rectification of the distillation column to produce low-pressure oxygen or nitrogen, and then reheated out of the cold box by the main heat exchanger, and pressurized to the required pressure by the oxygen (nitrogen) compressor, which is also known as conventional air separation equipment.
